Description

The information provision should be an important technique of traffic management to produce the efficient traffic flow on the network. In particulg it is quite difficult to assume that drivers may have perfect information on the network in case of emergency. The practical information provision method is proposed for efficient traffic management in emergency conditions in the study. It can be formulated with the four kinds of indexes to restore the traffic flow on the network. The effectiveness of the proposed system is almost equivalent to the theoretical result of optimized allocation of information.
