Description
We studied the lasing performance of a Tm, Ho: YLF laser using single-and double-cavity configurations. Thedouble-cavity configuration provided 30mW in single-mode oscillation, which exceeded that with the singlecavity configuration. Furthermore, we obtained a tunable range of 15GHz when using the double-cavity configuration at room temperature. In addition, we compared the lasing performance of single-mode oscillationusing internal mirrors with differing reflectivities.
