Description

In order to perform the qualitative test for some phosphates, the reaction between typical phosphates and several complexes has been investigated. Some fundamental conditions have been studied for the determination of pyrophosphate by using hexaureachromium chloride complex as a reagent. A green crystalline precipitate was formed by the reaction of pyrophosphate and the above complex had a formula of (Cr (CON2H4) 6) HP2O7·2H2O. The complex solution having the maximum absorbancy at 444 and 624 mμ remained unchanged for a long time ; therefore, it seems to be useful as an analytical reagent.
