Abstract

A 14-day-old female Holstein calf was shown to have medulloblastoma with high cellularity in the vermis of the cerebellum. In some places, tumor cells were arranged in bundles or palisades. Some pseudorosettes (Homer-Wright) were seen, but true rosettes were rare. The neoplastic cells were small in size and had a round, ovoid, elongated or carrot-shaped nucleus, and most of them were positive for vimentin but not for neuron-specific enolase.
