抄録

Horizontal distribution and seasonal occurrence of "nauplius y" of which adult was completely unknown crustacean larva were investigated in Manazuru Port Sagami Bay, Central Japan from May 1999 to March 2000. A total of 49 individuals were collected mainly during summer and in which seven types of nauplius y (including two previously unknown types) were identified. Although three types of nauplius y, Pacific Type I, Type VII, and Type IX occurred dominantly at inner part of the port during summer, they showed specific spatio-temporal distribution pattern. Comparison with the previously reported data from Shikkake inlet, 1 km south of Manazuru Port, revealed that the composition of types was considerably different according to the locality, even though the both sampling sites were proximate. These occurrence patterns may reflect the reproductive pattern and distribution of this organisms and should be clue to discover the adult which is important for the phylogeny of crustacea.
