Abstract

In general, the sensitivity of carp, Cyprinus carpio was lowered with growth to pesticides, but the decreasing degree varied with the kinds of pesticides. Remarkable difference in sensitivity between 5 cm and 25 cm carp were observed with growth to 3 pesticides, including benfuracarb, fenothiocarb and fluvalinate insecticides among 26 pesticide formulations used. However, the sensitivity to endosulfan insecticide and ioxynil octanoate herbicide decreased with growth from 5 cm to 25 cm, while that to pentachlorphenol herbicide did not changed.
