Description

In order to know the influence of short day treatment on heading and growth of “Wangul” in Korea, the experiment was carried out in an untreated plot of natural day length and in flve short day (8hrs.) treated plots of one, two, thre, four, and five week Periods after transplanting, using three local varieties. Consequently, it was proved that “Wangul” was a very photosensitive short day plant for heading and the plant height was dwarfed exeeedingly by the treatmet.
