Description

A 8-month-old, neutered female, Scottish Fold cat was presented to our hospital with right hind limb lameness. Radiograph showed changes consistent with Scottish Fold osteochondrodysplasia. Althogh treated with some drugs, clinical improvement was not adequately. Then radiotherapy to tarsal bones was performed. The clinical sign was clearly improved immediately, but the lameness recurred at 70 days after first radiotherapy. Second radiotherapy, irradiated to phalanges, could not reduce the pain until 1 month later. But according to the owner, the cat was in a good condition at 55 days after second radiotherapy and the condition was maintaining over 158 days.<br>
