Description
The purpose of this study is to criticize clinically“the standardization of evaluation of analgesics efficiency in toothache”which was executed by Japanese Society of Oral Therapeutics and Pharmacology.<BR>117 patients with toothache and related pain which needed analgesic drug were carried out in this study.<BR>2 Tablets of CALONAL 0 Tab.® (Showa Yakuhin kako Corp. 200mg acetoaminophen/1 tablet) were each administered without symptomatic intra-oral treatment.<BR>The following results were obtained from this study.<BR>1) Acetoaminophen is effective and safe for relieving toothache and related pain. 83% of experimental persons were obtained effective analgesics result.<BR>2) Side effect repoted in 3 of 117 cases (0.3%) : such as stomachache, drawsiness and dizziness. However, latter two cases were considered that there were no relationship with the administrating of CALONAL O Tab.<BR>3) “The standardization of evaluation of analgesics efficiency in toothache”was useful generally to evaluate the analgesic efficiency.
