Abstract

We describe a case report of a lesser tuberosity fracture treated by arthroscopic surgery, and especially report the methods for that operation.<BR>The case is a 36-year-old man who fell down on his right shoulder. He was introduced to our hospital from first visiting a nearby hospital. We diagnosed a lesser tuberosity fracture with X-ray and CT scan. Especially, the CT scan was very useful. Arthroscopic surgery was performed for this case using two suture anchors. Passive ROM exercise was allowed 3 weeks after operation. Bone union was achieved and his shoulder had full range of motion at 3 months after surgery. We have a good result for arthroscopic surgery for the lesser tuberosity fracture.
