Abstract
Vestibuler portions of two foetal inner ears were examined by scanning electron microscope. The sensory cell from a 23 week foetus showed maturation of hair band. But the sensory cell body was round shaped, neither flask-shaped nor cylindrical form at the periphery of the utricular macula.<BR>On the otherhand, a 23 week and a 26 week fetuses were seen following three abnormal hair cells: a) a short hair bandles with pertiel fusion b) a Giant hair c) Kinocillum with a hemisphere like swelling. These abnormal bair handles seem to disappear with maturation.
