抄録

When value engineering (VE) is applied to building construction, all of the tasks in the building construction project could not be accounted for VE objects in the allotted time. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate each task based on relevant evaluation criteria in the area of building construction. This study confirms the effectiveness of principal component analysis to the selection of VE objects by comparing the score based on principal component analysis.<br>It is found that author's methodology is able to select VE objects effectively from various viewpoints of the building construction project by using multi-dimensional components based on principal component analysis.
