Abstract

We report a case of primary hepatic presentation of Hodgkin's lymphoma. In X month 2007, a 57-year-old-woman underwent abdominal computed tomography (CT), which revealed the presence of a solid mass in the liver. One year later, dynamic CT provided an enhanced image of the tumor with clear borders. A liver biopsy sample revealed granuloma-like lesions with atypical lymphocytes. We performed partial liver resection and detected Hodgkin cells. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed that these cells were positive for CD30. In addition, a rearranged IgH band was detected. On the basis of these findings, we diagnosed this case as Hodgkin's lymphoma. The patient has experienced no recurrence in 32 months.<br>
