Description
Therapeutic effects of polyenephosphatidylcholine (PPC) versus placebo were studied on 124 patients with chronic hepatitis by a double blind trial. During 12 weeks of the treatment, 1500mg of PPC daily resolved clinical symptoms and hepatomegaly without any remarkable side effects. PPC caused a favorable biochemical response to improve serum levels of albumin and γ-globulin.
