Abstract

<p>In order to raise the awareness of viral hepatitis and hepatitis B (HB) vaccine for the purpose of the raised bottom up medical care level, it was carried out awareness investigation for hepatitis virus test based on the content of prenatal checkup. It was intended for 108 parent visited for 1-year-old six month child medical examination. The proportion of people who remember that it has received the hepatitis B virus surface (HBs) antigen • anti-hepatitis C virus (HCV) antibody test in the prenatal checkup was about 50%. Ratio of people understand that HBs antigen • HCV antibody is a hepatitis virus testing was about 20%. Among them, more than 80% were medical personnel.</p><p>Finally, to avoid wasteful hepatitis test and understand the hepatitis test, it was also felt the need to explain clearly to the parents by the obstetrician and pediatrician carring out prenatal care and HB vaccine.</p>
