Description

Three cases of onychorrhexis treated succesfully with topical steroid are reported.<BR>The causes of the onychorrhexis are unknown. However, in our three cases, eponychium of affected nails showed roughness and was normalized with the treatment topically applied steroid ointment to eponychium. So it is considered that onychorrhexis is caused by trauma to posterior nail fold.
