Six cases of median rhomboid glossitis were reported. The lesions were raised in two cases and flat in four cases. The raised lesions were greyish white and the flat lesions were rosy. Candidal hyphae were found numerous in raised lesions histologically, but few in flat lesions. The lesions of 6 cases were cured by the treatment with nystatin to dissolve in the mouth or with nystatin solution to be applied topically.<BR>Median rhomboid glossitis is caused by candidal infection.
