説明

A 19-year-old woman with chemical burn from 35% sodium hydroxide on the face, cervix, trunk and extremities is presented. After washing with water and saline, we treated her with conservative way. She recovered completely except for scar formation on her chest and abdomen, because of the delay of washing. We strongly recommended that alkaline chemical skin injury should be treated aggressively by hydrotherapy without delay.
