抄録

Doping in sports is growing problem in many countries because purchasing doping substance through virtual pharmacy on the Internet became relatively easy. Recent progress of test procedure by means of LC/MS uncovered the prevalence of heat labile stimulants and steroids that could not be detected by conventional GC/MS. Trafficking and misuse of illeg al designer steroids are also serious problem, as the products are not approved for human use and safety of such unauthorized designer steroids is not established. Several gene therapies are recently considered to be of risk of gene doping in sports. This chapter explains current topic on doping in sports and idea to solve the problem.
