Abstract

Pupa and larva of Armigeres (Armigeres) hybridus Edwards are described and illustrated for the first time on the basis of specimens collected from the Lanjak Entimau Wildlife Sanctuary, Sarawak, Malaysia. These specimens are compared with Armigeres (Armigeres) conjungens Edwards. The larvae breed in water with inflorescence bracts of the wild ginger Hornstedtia reticulata in a tropical rain forest.
