説明

In the orthopedic field, intermittent claudication is almost caused by spinal canal stenosis.
But we experienced a rare case with intermittent claudication due to the entrapment neuropathy of the posterolateral branch of L3 spinal nerve.
At operation the nerve was identified to be entrapped between the fascia of the latissimus dorsi and the obliqus internus abdominis, and resected at the same point with fascia.
Five months later, the clinical assessment is satisfactory without any disturbances of ADL.
