Description

Since Jan. 1982 upto Des. 1987, we have been using 56 Sauvage EXS grafts for lower extremity revascularization. 26 grafts out of them were employed for extra- anatomical procedure. 5 years accumulated patency rates were 80.8% for all bypass grafts and 85.8% for axillo-femoral bypass operations. Occuluded grafts were only two for single patient, but they are now patent by the alteration of the proximal anastomotic site. We believe EXS grafts are most suitable graft for extra-anatomical bypass such as axillo-femoral bypass.
