抄録

Adenoid cystic carcinoma is a malignant salivaly gland tumor that occurs most commonly in the hard palate.<br>A case of adenoid cystic carcinoma in an 85-year-old male is presented with special reference to radiographic findings. The patient was reffered to the Gifu College of Dentistry Hospital for prothodontic treatment of ill-fitting lower denture.<br>Radiographes revealed that the mandibular bone was almost entirely destroyed, presenting “moth-eaten-appearance”.<br>A central tumor was suspected from the clinical, radiographic and histopathological examinations.
