抄録

A case of nasopharyngeal carcinoma with metastases to the cervical lymph nodes in an 18-year-old female was reported. Biopsy from both cervical lymph nodes and nasopharynx revealed carcinoma (lymphepithelioma) and epitheloid granuloma with central necrosis resembling tuberculosis. Differential diagnosis of the granulomas was discussed and it was concluded that the granuloma was not tuberculosis but induced by tumor necrosis, based on the finding remants or "gohsts" demonstrated in both hematoxylin-eosin and trichrome connective tissue stained sections.
