抄録

Deglutition and following intraluminal pressure increase has been known as indicator of esophagical motility by means of medical electronic successively in past few years. The authors state the evaluation and criticism according to their physiological data and available references recent years.<BR>From the stand point of basic problems, pharyngo-esophological junction, normal peristalsis and gastro esophageal junction in order of age difference are discussed.<BR>From the view point of clinical application, achalasia, diffuse spasm, cancer, hiatal hernia, reflux and esophagitis are discussed.<BR>Sine-radiometry is introduced in connection with X-ray are supposed to be one of the most improved diagnostic method in future.
