抄録

The authors studied on a new haemolysin test medium for M. bovis, and we obtained the following results.<BR>1) HI agar medium showed the best function as basal medium for haemolysin test of M. bovis.<BR>2) M. bovis showed the best haemolysis on HI agar medium containing 1% yeast extract at pH 8.0.<BR>3) Ninety five percent of the strains of M. bovis isolated from clinical materials showed β-haemolysis, and other Moraxella species showed a-haemolysis or non-haemolysis on the new medium.
