Description
Amorphous magnetic material has excellent characteristics, including small coercive force and rectangular magnetic hysteresis loop. In a previous paper, we presented a variable output voltage parametric transformer constructed using a bridge-connected magnetic circuit, which consists of a toroidal core and two U-form cores. One of the U-form cores is for control, and the other is for parametric oscillation. In this paper, we describe a new three-leg parametric transformer with variable output voltage, based on the same principle. The magnetic circuit is constructed using a three-leg core that is made of laminated amorphous tape and a U-form core.
