説明

Chumon-zukuri is a L shape house type in which main part of a farmhouse is connected with a stable, especially of horses. The farmhouses of this type are wide-spread in rural parts of Niigata, Yamagata, Akita Prefectures and Aizu District of Fukushima Prefecture. In this paper, the author points out a close relationship between the distribution of this house and the depth of snow-fall.
