抄録

Let σ1, σ2 and σ3 (σ1>σ2>σ3) be the principal stresses, and σ3=0. Takinm σ1 and σ2 as the axes, the limit over which the plastic flow may occur is not expressed by a smooth curve by the authors' theory, but under the stress field between tension and pure shear, it is expressed by two straight lines which abruptly bend at σ1=4σ2. Experiments were carried out. The results show that there is a sudden bent as expected according to the authors' theory.
