Description
Natural rock-crystals are different from synthetic rock-crystals in FT-IR spectra. FT-IR spectra for natural rock-crystal at 3595cm^<-1> and synthetic rock-crystal at 3585cm^<-1> have been observed. The cathodoluminescence (CL) images of natural rock-crystals commonly show the zoning patterns of growth lines, whereas sueh zoning patterns have not been observerd in the synthetic rock-crystals. Natural and synthetic rock-crystals can be identified by FT-IR spectra and CL images.
