<p>This paper introduces the concept of chemical looping clean coal technologies, included the type of carriers, base reactions, process components and analysis result. This paper also reviews the development situation of chemical looping clean coal technology projects in the world and the recent motion for development of chemical looping clean coal technology in Japan.</p>
