Description

The amount of architectural scrap wood of 6 cities in Nagano Prefecture was investigated. Next, to plan the effective use of architectural scrap wood, the amount of future recycling was projected. It was estimated that the amount of architectural scrap wood generated in Nagano Prefecture was 113,116t a year between fiscal year 2004 and 2008. Moreover, the recycling rate was found to be 81.0% from investigations of the current state of the processing and disposal of waste wood in Nagano Prefecture. It was forecast that the amount of recycling of architectural scrap wood will increase from 2008 to 2035 and decrease from 2036 to 2050 in Nagano City.
