In recent years, the quaywall has been reconstructed for the purpose of port physical distribution and disaster prevention. And cement mixed soil, which made use of dredge soil, has become to widely employed as backfill material as it can reduce the earth pressure acting on the quaywall. On the other hand, earth reinforcement technique that uses geosynthetics has been adopted in embankment as a stability measure, and the authors expected that by this method it is possible to achieve an economic and robust marine structure. However its application to marine structure, such as revetment and quaywall, is few. In present study, we proposed a SG-Wall construction method that combines the cement mixed soil and geosynthetics as a stability and an earthquake-resistance measure for the marine structure. In this paper, the result of underwater shaking table test is shown and effectiveness of SG-Wall is considered.
