Description
Through the many studies, it became clear that odors affect both physiological and psychological effects via olfactory system. According to these theories, new perfumes having the physiological and psychological effects were developed and used in cosmetics. Thus perfumes are essential for cosmetics, but they are decomposed by the catalytic activity of pigments. The inactivation of pigments is indispensable for preparing high quality cosmetics. The functional nano-coating method which can inactivate the catalytic activities and add the function was developed by two steps without changing the color and shape of pigments particles. In this article, the effects of odors and catalytic activities / surface treatments of pigments in cosmetics are outlined.
