Abstract
This study analysed effect of English text speed reading training on improvement of English listening comprehesion in relation to learners' dictaion skill. Analysis 1 investigated the effect of speed reading training on listening comprehension and revealed that speed reading is an effective method for improving English listening comprehension. In Analysis 2, the effect of speed reading training on listening comprehension was investigated in relation to learner's dictaion skill. The result showed that high dictaion skill is required in order for speed reading training to be effective for improving learners' listening comprehension.
