Abstract
We have developed a model of a lunar rover and 1 km laser energy transmission system using a laser diode as the light source. The laser-electric conversion efficiency of a solar panel loaded on the lunar rover model is measured as more than 20% at the indoor experimental level. 1.2 km laser energy transmission experiment has successfully be done. The rover model was controlled with PC through the wireless LAN system.
