Abstract
This study aims to devise an urban design for heat island mitigation. Midosuji Street in Osaka is made target. The environment of thermal comfort and the human body surroundings is measured, and air and heat distributions are clarified by CFD. The concrete countermeasures for heat island mitigation that can be achieved are proposed in this study.
