Description
The importance of drilling accuracy was clarified in the past study. The case equipped with drilling guidance system of rock drill was increasing recently. But there was a problem of aged deterioration of the system. The authors showed the hybrid system using auto tracking total station as external sensor from robotics. The standard deviation of drilling accuracy was about 17mm in vertical and 37mm in horizontal after 1200 hours operation and the effect of the decrease in overbreak was about 44 mm comparing with existing methods.
