<p>Since the two free parameters have significant effect on the shape of the T-Bézier curve, a natural idea arises to find the optimal values of the two free parameters for obtaining the fairest curves. In this paper, we use approximate curvature variation minimization to obtain the optimal values of the two free parameters. By minimizing an appropriate approximate function, the unique solution can be easily obtained. We outline some examples to illustrate the effectiveness of this method.</p>
