Description
The purpose of this study was to investigate the buffering effects of received social support from family members and friends on an alteration of student apathy in controlled amount of daily stressors during 3 month. 113 undergraduates completed a) student apathy scale, b) received social support scale, and c) daily stressors scale twice. The main results showed the amount of received social support from family members and friends have strong apathy-buffering effects in high stressor group and increasing stressor group, while no main effects in low stressor group and decreasing stressor group. From these results, an importance of health psycho-education as a precaution against student apathy was discussed.<br>
