Abstract
By the tsunami occurred by 2011 off the Pacific coast of TŌhoku Earthquake, many vessels drifted and they caused not a few damages on bridge structures. In this study, in order to clarify the collision load distribution when a large vessel drifted by Tsunami collides with a virtual cable stayed bridge tower, collision analyses using FEM were conducted. Taking account of various collision conditions, the parametric analyses which were varied with collision position and direction carried out. Additionally, we compared the value of the collision load formula from a log normal distribution and it from the analytical result. Finally, analyzing the model of replacing the material of the tower with a concrete, the influence of materials on the collision load was investigated.
