Description

Object<BR>We seek to prevent fretting corrosion which arises between the contact surfaces of varipitch sheaves. By way of preventing fretting, we used non-metallic and elastic parts on the contact surface, instead of the conventional metallic parts, and also changed the sliding motion between contact surfaces to a rolling motion.<BR>Result<BR>Our practical test has shown that the durability of the new device is measurably high.
