Does volunteering have any possibility of changing social relations? Volunteering is easily manipulated by the nation, politically. The concept of "subject" is not free from social relationship so that one can still be manipulated or mobilized by the social system. How then, can a positive meaning in volunteering be found?
In this paper, the idea was to keep a distance from the concept "subject" since any "subjects" are not always sure to be either independent or autonomic. An attempt was made to examine only the actions, which were repeated by the actors, themselves. The purpose was to ascertain whether hospital volunteers are manipulated or independent. Therefore, the focus was on the process of how norms are going to be shared by those members and how their shared norms or their orders, based on the norms, are going to be contrary to those of the organization.
Although it cannot be concluded with surety, at least in a case, that the members often construct their own norms and orders that are not always in line with those of their respective organization. For this reason, their actions as well as their organiza-tion might have some possibility of being independent and autonomic from national or administrative power.
