Abstract
In this paper, we analyzed about the contribution factors of intention of students who attend Brazilian schools and their parents. We used the data of two investigations carried out in Toyohashi-city, Aichi and Kosai-city, Shizuoka in 2006 and Hamamatsucity, Shizuoka in 2008.
Firstly, we analyzed about the contribution factors of the “intention of returning to Brazil"of Brazilian school students. Then, we found variables of “age", “period of staying in Japan", “experience of attending Japannese school"and “parentsʼintention of staying in Japan"weakened the “intention of returning to Brazil". On the other hand, the consciousness of being discriminated against by Japanese people strengthened the “intention of returning to Brazil". We found “parentsʼintention staying in Japan"had significant influence to the “intention of returning to Brazil"through two investigations in 2006 and 2008.
Secondly, we analyzed about the contribution factors of the “parentsʼintention of staying in Japan". Then, the consciousness that my future will be influenced by the social situation and the consciousness preferring living environment of Japan strengthened the “parentʼs intention of staying in Japan". Meanwhile the “consciousness of meritocracy"weakened the “parentsʼintention of staying in Japan"in the Toyohashi investigation in 2006. On the other hand, in the Hamamatsu investigations in 2008, the “consciousness of meritocracy"and the consciousness preferring living environment of Japan have no significant effect anymore. In contrast, the friendliness to Japanese people and the age of children have significant effect to the “parentsʼintention of staying in Japan".
