Abstract

 Road earthwork and pavement has been designed to be independent. Currently, the construction management of the subgrade is going in the management of relative compaction. To check the relative compaction is supposed to implement the CBR test. However, CBR measured in situ has a complicated measure. Thus, it has been confirmed in the field density test and manage in number of rolling coverage of compaction. This study was carried out the two (2) types of durability test, using traveling wheel load running tester and checking the effect of the durability of the asphalt pavement based on some types of degree of compaction state using heavily loaded vehicles at the test field. As a result, it was found that there is a possibility that measured value by impact acceleration tester and portable FWD can be a degree of compaction alternative.
