The ratio of cyclists' casualties to whole type of accidents increases in these days in Japan, the injuries are mainly young people, and the fatalities are mainly senior citizen , Most of accidents occur at intersection. Such as crossing collisions at small intersections or collisions to right turn vehicles at large intersections. Especially, it is said that bicycles coming from left side of vehicles in crossing collision and bicycles coming from rear side of right turn vehicles have high risk. This study aims at clarifying the feature of near-miss incidents which is focused as potential risk of accidents according to the previous research outcomes using accidents data. Questionnaire survey to high school students and elderly people in Fukuyama City are analyzed. As a result, the ratio of near-miss incidents by high school student is higher at small intersections, though it is higher by elderly people at arterial intersections, and bicycles coming from left side have higher risk at when running from the left to the car is high at small intersections of local streets and arterial-local streets by high school students.
