Abstract

In this study, we made a survey of vehicle speeds in Okayama city, and estimated a model for prediction of the speed profile on street structures by analyzing the relationship between street structures and vehicle speeds. And the model were authenticated potency for prediction of the speed profile in residential road, showed the possible application to various residential road. And we could show the change in traffic behavior by installation of road humps.
