Description

Hitherto, many seniors have tried several investigations on the un-symmetrical distributions in hydrologic statistics, and proposed several solutions. And these investigations are mostly related to the logarithmic-normal distribution.<br>In this paper, the authors propose a new solution based on the moment method of the logarithmic-normal distribution in which the upper limit is infinite and the lower limit b, and suggest a practical table that makes, extremely, the calculations simple. Moreover, using the moment method, the authors prove that the Gumbel distribution is, practically, a special case of the logarithmic-normal distribution.
