<p>I compared the contents of the Lalitavistara with 24 functions of Morphology of the Folktale (1927) by Vladimir Propp, 17 stages of the Hero’s Journey by Joseph Campbell (The Hero with a Thousand Faces, 1949), and 12 stages of Christopher Vogler’s The Writer’s Journey (2007). </p>
