Abstract
In this study, the interdependency among critical infrastructures during the past disasters has been investigated and arranged as matrices, FTAs and influence diagrams. And the influence of the interdependency has been quantitatively surveyed through a case study about the earthquake disaster in the metropolitan area. The results show that almost all the infrastructures are interdependent, and the electric power, telecom, and highway system have influence greater than the others. Moreover, practical use of cellular-phone mail, car-navigation system, marine and air transportation, disaster response agreement with a related organization, etc. are found to be effective for quick restoration.
